Round Table
Marco Cl.
- Progress on CMake configuration
- Bender, Vetra and Alignment can be built (some patches to be applied and configuration still to be committed)
- Pending: Hlt, Moore, Online, Panoramix, Gauss
- Waiting for the checkout script to be able to build regularly the head versions
- Need to modify the QMTest custom classes to produce CDash-compatible reports
Ben
- LbScripts v7r5 released (updated archive-project in place)
- New version of archive-project now archive the distribution files and reminds that CVMFS needs to be cleaned
- It looks like there is a problem with the latest release of Gauss (Gloria will check the task on savannah)
Gloria: we need to consider how to add the documentation of DecFiles.
Marco Ca.: we need to install everything on Online (we will use it for production).
Ben: we need for CVMFS the same kind of mechanism used for Online.
Gloria: do we have debug on CVMFS? Ben: no, we are still waiting for the dedicated volume.
Markus
- If we need to change the way software is deployed to the Online, we need a meeting with the sysadmins.
The discussion needs to extend to the deployment on the grid too... install_project, SetupProject etc.
Stefan
- Tried to run VTune regularly
- it needed improvements to run faster
- the new code will be committed soon
Thomas
- Working on script for patching the stack.
- Updating the documentation.
Illya
- ...(CondDB) Compatiblity Tracking System demo...
Marco Ca: we need a simple way to update the database (tools are available)
Ben: We could use this DB for the informations on the platforms and installations.
Marco Ca: we need to replace the "Data Type" with "Reconstruction Type"... the simulation has a similar problem. We need a discussion early next year.
