Marco Cl.

  • Preparing an internal note describing the new Nightly Build System prototype(LHCb-INT-2013-006).
  • Working on the slides on Core Software for the A&S Week.
  • Next release of Gaudi due by the end of this week, beginning of the next, to be ready for the new LHCb stack
    • it will use LCGCMT 64c
    • Ben: we can build SLC6 gcc 4.6
    • do we drop i686? yes
  • Fixed the issue with GiGaCnv compilation on gcc46. Gauss now compiles on gcc46.

Ben

  • Released LbScripts v7r6 as dev (new project Urania and new packages).
  • Can run Django applications on IT infrastructure via FCGI.
  • Working on the installation of Jenkins on lxbuild173
  • Discussion with Rob about test coverage. Will start to work on it.
  • On deployment shift next week, so can update savannah and the documentation.

Joel

  • New LHCbDIRAC service based on v6r6 series of DIRAC

Stefan

  • Tried to compile Moore on several compilers, including gcc 4.7. We should try to compile on clang, etc.

Liang

  • There has been a discussion on some calibrations for improved momentum resolution, but with shifting baseline depending on the magnet polarity. Marco Ca. suggested to use a mechanism like the one for the magnetic field service. Now waiting for progress on the developers side.
