After a discussion on the various options, we agreed to set the
LANG
environment variable to
C
in few key places:
- LbScripts script baseclass
- gaudirun.py
- GaudiPython (module)
These should cover 99.9% of the use cases without interfering with the user desktop. Note that the changes in Gaudi will be in v23r10 after a retag.
