Marco Cl.

  • CMake
    • Geant4 builds with CMake (CMT compatible)
    • Gauss initial migration completed: to be tuned (issues with Pythia)
  • Gaudi
    • v23r10 is a minor bugfix release
    • the next release will focus on the merge between the LHCb and ATLAS branches (will be tagged even if we are not building the LHCb stack on it)

  • First release of BeautyDirac in production

  • Issues with getpack and the french language

After a discussion on the various options, we agreed to set the LANG environment variable to C in few key places:

  • LbScripts script baseclass
  • gaudirun.py
  • GaudiPython (module)
These should cover 99.9% of the use cases without interfering with the user desktop. Note that the changes in Gaudi will be in v23r10 after a retag.
