• ROOT 6.02/00 tagged
  • still issues for us: ntuples creations in Python, xrootd/dcache issue
  • if we cannot get these fixed we have to stick to ROOT 5
  • we will make a final decision in November (Computing Workshop)

Discussion on use of Virtual Machines for the nightlies.
We agreed to run massive tests on VMs in the coming weeks.

• Issue with JIRA notification scheme: developers get too many mail
  • idea to work around it, but we need to discussed with IT (the idea is to raise the privileges of assignees to the level of developers)

Ben: JIRA migration campaign will end this week and we have to decide what to do with the deployment.
After some discussion we decided to create a new JIRA project for the deployment in sft.its.cern.ch.

Marco Ca.: the way the migration is handled is suboptimal. After the migration the savannah projects are still editable, we have all those issues about configuration, etc.

• Ben asked for an entry point to Ariadne without authentication.

Ben: we need architectural documentation on Ariadne and the other services on buildlhcb.

• Working on periodic tests
  • automatic Brunel callgrind reports
• Tested jemalloc (LBCORE-616), no final conclusion
• At LIM we were asked about LHAPDF 6
