    • there will be a LCG 80, waiting for a bugfix in ROOT and using CLHEP 2.2 (needed by ATLAS)
    • we asked for clang and a gcc 5 builds
  • ITUM next week on Monday
  • LCEB meeting yesterday
    • Presentation about CERNbox
    • Vidyo: finance committee agreed to support it until end of 2018, with good support for Ubuntu and CentOS

  • Updates to the nightlies
    • debugging issues with tests running forever (timeout failing to kill the processes)
  • Fixed LBCORE-913: account blocked after using wrong credentials in tag collector and nightly build configuration editor


  • Started to create CC7 build machines
  • Will start to create the virtual machines to replace buildlhcb

Ben: CC7 will actually be called CO7 (was discussed at the LIM)


  • ROOT workshop last week
    • Axel presented the new API of ROOT 7 (proof of concept)
    • interesting ideas about future of C++ and
  • We need a discussion on the tools at the workshop (GIT, CMake etc)

We had a chat about ROOT and notebooks (Jupyter). We need to show it to the users once it's available. We should also think about Bender (check with Vanya).
