How to access DIRAC web manager

This page should collect answers to common questions about how to access the DIRAC web manager as a registered LHCb user

Get a certificate loaded in your browser

That step is nicely documented in this FAQ

Load the pkIrisGrid CA root cert in your browser

ALERT! NOTE: Currently only Firefox 3 is supported. If you're not using one of those, please go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ to download Firefox.

The DIRAC web manager uses a grid certificate to secure connections. In order to do so it uses a certificate issued by a Grid Certification Authority. Most of the Grid Certification Authorities are not automatically recognized by browsers. The current web manager uses a pkIrisGrid certificate so you need to load the root certificate by going to http://www.irisgrid.es/pki/cacert/index.en.html and click on the .der file

Enjoy!
