Dataset popularity

Instructions on how to get the LHCbDirac datasets popularity plots (data collected starting from July 2012)

  1. Go to the LHCbDirac web portal: http://lhcb-web-dirac.cern.ch
  2. In the top left menu tree (System), go to Accounting > Plots > Data Popularity
    A page opens with selection menus on the left and a plot area
  3. Now select the plot from the left menus:
    1. Plot to generate: Data Usage
    2. Group by: , for example "Processing Pass"
    3. Time span:
    4. Expand the "Selection Conditions" menu
    5. Select (as needed) the various items, corresponding to the BK selection path: /Data Type/Activity/Conditions/Processing Pass/Event Type/File Type
      You can give a title to your plot with the "Advanced options" at the bottom, then click "Plot"... and wait a bit...
