Fan Trays Numbering Scheme

The fan trays of each rack row form a single CAN chain. The CAN Node ID of the fan trays is as follows

<0|1><rack-number> (demical)

or

0|10 + <rack-number>

Assuming the node ID is a demical number, the first digit is either 0 or 1, namely 0 or 10. (Because the LCD panel in wiener use demical digit)

0(0) for a crate in the top position

1(10) for a crate in the bottom position

The second digit is the number of rack

Example

The fan trays in D3E03 (VELO) would have

3 (top crate)

13 (bottom crate)

as CAN Node ids
