Correlations of Hlt lines

This pages shows some statistics from 2012 data. For more details refer to LHCb-INT-2013-009 (svn). The code is in svn.

Numbers obtained from S20 No Bias data

The following stats are obtained from all events selected by the NoBias stripping line. That's 5 million events of which 300k pass L0, 20k Hlt1 and 3k Hlt2. That's not enough to make Hlt2 correlations but has the advantage of allowing L0 and Hlt1 stats for the whole of 2012.

L0 statistics

First the fraction of events from the relevant lines in L0-accepted and stripping-accepted events is given. The ratio column gives the ratio of these numbers. The ``purity'' is the fraction of events accepted by that line that pass the stripping. ``Uniq.'' is the fraction of events that are only accepted by this line, and <Lines> the average number of lines fired. This allows to calculate a weighted contribution to the L0 bandwidth. Finally the average SPD multiplicity is given.

Hlt1 statistics

First the fraction of events from the relevant line is given. ``Uniq.'' is the fraction of events that are only accepted by this line, and <Lines> the average number of lines fired. This allows to calculate a weighted contribution to the L0 bandwidth. The average SPD multiplicity is also given. The last columns give the efficiency the next trigger levels of events accepted by this line.

Numbers obtained from Run 125113

Run 125113 is the stripping test run for 2012 data. It was taken on 8 August 2012 with TCK 0x00990042. The numbers in the tables below are obtained from all Hlt2-accepted events in this run.
