• a means of 'locking down' a configurable, such that modifications 'downstream' are no longer allowed -- and if attempted, will throw a (python) exception which will abort things. (Should be easy to do for Marco Cl.)

• implementation of IFileAccess which read (compressed) files inside a tar archive (https://savannah.cern.ch/patch/?4792)

• bug in GaudiKernel::ToStream .. we all know the story

Currently worked on by Alexey

• we can read configurations from .zip files, but not write them to .zip files

• change the persistent format from the ad-hoc one defined by $HLTINTERFACESROOT/src/{PropertyConfig,ConfigTreeNode}::{read, print} to formal JSON.
