MCRichSegment

Class Summary

The MCRichSegment data object is an additional RICH specific object that can be produced and written to persistent store by Gauss.

The class provides a detailed discription of the trajectory of a MCParticle through a given RICH radiator medium.

Data members are :-

• A bit packed history integer containing information such as the radiator type traversed.

• A vector of points along the trajectory through the radiator medium. The first point gives the entry point whilst the last is the exit point.

• A vector of direction vector at each of the above trajectory points.

• A SmartReference to the associated MCParticle

• A SmartReference to the associated MCRichTrack

• A vector of SmartReferences to all MCRichOpticalPhotons that were radiated (and detected) from this track segment.
