WARNING THIS REFERS TO MACHINES IN 157

After the installation (SLC4/3) has been done, a few things are needed to give a machine the look and feel of the "typical" online server. These instructions do obviously not apply to disk-less nodes. What is done here could/should be automatised by a script and/or included in KickStart.

domain daq.lhcb server admin01.daq.lhcb

Add nis to the following line in /etc/pam.d/system-auth

Add the following line to /etc/sysconfig/network

chkconfig --add ypbind
service ypbind start

*       -rw,hard,intr   admin01:/home/&

Add the following to /etc/auto.master
/net    /etc/auto.net
