Quick and easy instructions on how to test that the step you just made, or the one that you want to make, would work in the DIRAC production system:

  • Login on lxplus (new session, please)
  • lb-run -c best LHCbDIRAC/prod lhcb-proxy-init
  • put the following file in ~/.dirac.cfg

DIRAC
{
  Setup=LHCb-Production
  Extensions=LHCb
}
LocalSite
{
  Site = DIRAC.Jenkins.ch
  GridCE = jenkins.cern.ch
  CEQueue = jenkins-queue_not_important
  LocalSE = CERN-DST-EOS
  LocalSE += CERN_MC-DST-EOS
  LocalSE += CERN-HIST-EOS
  LocalSE += CERN-RAW
  LocalSE += CERN-FREEZER-EOS
  LocalSE += CERN-SWTEST
  LocalSE += CERN-USER
  Architecture = x86_64-slc6
  CPUScalingFactor = 5.7
  CPUNormalizationFactor = 5.7
  SharedArea = /cvmfs/lhcb.cern.ch/lib
  CPUTimeLeft = 123456
}

  • Once you're done, it'd better if you remove (or better rename) the ~/.dirac.cfg file.
