LHCb PyPI server

Starting June 2017, LHCb has its own instance of a PyPI server hosted on https://lhcb-pypi.web.cern.ch/. If you want to browse the packages, you can do it via a web browser at: https://lhcb-pypi.web.cern.ch/.

For client usage

For librarian usage

  • If you want to deploy a new packaged project (with a septup.py file):

python setup.py sdist from your porject root folder and then copy the tarball from dist folder to /eos/project/l/lhcbwebsites/www/lhcb-pypi/pool/[project name]/. A cronjob running each minute will create the metainfo required by pip client. If you want to runt the meta-info generation manually, please execute /cvmfs/lhcbdev.cern.ch/tools/pypiMetainfoTools/regenerateStaticFiles.sh from a machine that has EOS, CVMFS access as well as Graphviz installed
