Please discuss with the Moore release manager (Rosen), before proceeding to these steps


  • You should already have created the new TCKs after following these instructions, and you should have added them to the config.cdb file in TCK/HltTCK and committed to the head version.
  • Again, you should only proceed to the following steps if you were given clear instructions to do so, e.g. due to experts being unavailable, and you are familiar with this procedure.

Create a MR and tag


Jenkins build

  • Trigger the release build from
    • Enter TCK/HltTCK vXrYpZ in the "packages_list" field.
    • Hit "Build"
    • In case you do not have permissions, contact the Moore release manager.
  • Check build on
    • Check that a new entry has been added. It is not always added immediately, so refresh after about a minute or two if it's not there. If it's still not there after a few minutes, trigger the build again.
    • All the fields will be grey, and under "Project" it will say "DBASE".
    • Click on the small Jenkins icon next to "Project" and check the package build log. Make sure you're building the correct version and that the log ends with "Finished: SUCCESS".
  • Note down the build ID.

Request deployment

  • Before proceeding to the next step, please inform the HLT release manager, and get their OK
  • Once you have the build ID, go to this page:
  • Log in and hit "Create" at the top.
  • Change the issue type to "Task". Write "Please release TCK/HltTCK vXrYpX" in the summary field. Change components to "Datapackage".
  • Write in the description box "Please release TCK/HltTCK vXrYpZ" Build ID: XXX
  • Hit "Create". A release shifter or manager now needs to pick it up.
  • It will take some time to appear on cvmfs.
