Rich Digitisation Data Object
Class Summary
The
RichDigit is a very simple class. It has no additional data members, the only information it stores is via the
RichSmartID used as its key when saved into a container of
RichSmartIDs.
This class is not created or stored during normal productions. For example, the RICH reconstruction works directly from
RichSmartIDs decoded from the raw buffer, which are decoded into
RichRecPixel objects which are non persistent data objects used only during the RICH reconstruction.
The class however still has uses, for example during data visualisation in Panoramix where it is very convenient to have the RICH raw data available as single data objects and available from the transient event store. If only for this reason, the class is retained as part of the Rich Event Model.
