Be aware that the ordering of the channels currently does not correspond directly to physical coordinates, due to the routing on the new adapter cards of the Spiroc front-end.

Fibre Mats/Modules

  • 5-layer module irradiated in the LHC tunnel, 2014 fibres (2.5m)
  • Irradiated 6-layer module from Nov '15 testbeam, 2015 fibres (2.424m)
  • DUT: Irradiated 6-layer module, 2016 fibres (2.424m)

Read-out

  • 2014 read out with 2014 Hamamatsu SiPM arrays
  • 2015 read out with 2015 Hamamatsu SiPM arrays
  • 2016 module read out with both 2014 and 2015 Hamamatsu SiPM arrays

Setup

  • DUT (2016) sandwiched between 2015 (beam side) and 2014 module
  • Each module 45 mm wide, no space between modules
  • DUT placed above rotation axis, lower edge of module ~10cm above point of rotation
  • 2015 module: irradiated side up
  • 2016 module: irradiated side down

Position Definition

  • Modules mounted on two axes linear table
  • Vertical adjustment:
    • max. distance: 340mm
    • topmost position: 0.45
    • bottommost position: 4.55
    • position 3.30 --> beam hits upper edge of modules
    • 'up' on remote "moves" beam downwards on modules
  • Horizontal adjustment:
    • max. distance: 380mm
    • leftmost position: 0.45 ("Jura side")
    • rightmost position: 4.08
    • position 0.45 --> beam hits mirrored end of modules
    • 'left' on remote "moves" beam towards mirror, 'right' towards SiPMs
