The status of this list is reported every two weeks at the T-Rec meeting. It was last reviewed at T-Rec on 2009-06-29

Velo pattern recognition

  • Submit latest chi2 tuning of new velo fit as presented in the workshop - done by David (PatVelo tag dhcroft_20090710, in Brunel v35r4). However check chi2 values again on larger files, eventually retuning is needed (David)
  • Understand bug (?) in TELL1 emulation/clustering (see Olivier's talk) (David)

TrackChecker (Stephie)

  • Add criteria for reconstructible B daughters (e.g. we are only interested if all B daughter tracks are reconstructible)
  • Add TT hit information
  • Add hit efficiencies
  • PatChecker - obsolete, remove from CVS (Stephie)

Fit improvements

  • Check/Set status from FitInitialization and pass it to full kalman fitter (Stephie)
  • Limit outlier removal in fit (Wouter) - Needs revisiting measurement class as separate counting for stereo and x Dof not directly feasible right now
  • Check center of momentum pulls, retune dE/dx if needed (Stephie)

Fast Geometry (Wouter)

Persistency

  • Clean up extra info, add few numbers as permanent members to the track (Stephie)

HLT related items

  • Submit PatVeloGeneral in HLT sequence (Georg)
  • Check why HLT vs.offline efficiency in velo is NOT 100% (Georg)
  • Evaluate improvement of outlier removal only in Velo for HLT (Georg)

Longer term projects / ongoing work:

  • Tuning of ghost probability for all track types and as well for HLT - Johannes A.

  • Work on TT in tracking (Jonny, Michel)
    • Including automatic updateing of B field LUT

  • Work on Ks tracking (Sascha)

  • Differences in up/down field map (Adlene)
    • Note: numbers presented in SHM talk at workshop where wrong. Difference are significantly smaller, thus topic not that urgent anymore (Reported 50% drop in momentum resolution, 5-10% are true difference)

  • Work on parameter comparison based method to evaluate efficiency and ghost rate (???)
    • Do we want to change only numerator or as well denominator of efficiency

  • Further studies on New PatVelo Tool (Olivier)
