How to Change the Conditions Database File showing which sensors are readout

Velo Conditions Database web page can be found here

Note as of 23/03/05 - this won't work until the next release.

Aim: (1) select whether or not a sensor is readout. (2) change the mapping between TELL1 IDs and sensor IDs

This is used in the Boole Velo Simulation. You do not need to regenerate the simulation events with Gauss.

> cd cmtuser
> getpack Det/XmlConditions v1r4
> cd Det/XmlConditions/v1r4/DDDB/Local/Velo

An example plot with only the five central Velo stations on one-half of the Velo readout is provided below.

edit the file sensor_readout.xml setting the parameter to 1 for sensors that are readout and 0 for those that are not

edit the file velo_readout.xml setting the Tell1 ID list number to match the sensor ID number list
