This is the Afs mini-group page about data to analyse

We analyse data from the SemileptonicStrippingStream, using the StrippingB0q2DplusMuX lines.

Information

-Scripts

The scripts used to generate these data are in our SVN repositry in the package Erasmus PhysSel/Bs2DsMuX, currently options/DaVinci-MC09-Ntuple.py and options/DaVinci-2011-Strip.py are the all-singing-all-dancng script, kept up to date, for <=v26r3p2 and >=v28r3 respectively.

The script use to assess K/pi asymmetries is located in /afs/cern.ch/user/t/tbird/public/kpi.tar.gz

-Getting LHCb datasets of the files on this page

You can either download the text files from here, and manually convert them into gaudi cards or LHCbDatasets for use in Ganga.

There is a much easier way. Ganga Utilities, if it is installed, lets you automatically create an LHCbDataset directly from this page:

where j is your job and name_of_file.txt is filename that you are interested in. A blank filename will give the tables below with the lists of files.

You can then add it to your ganga box, with some custom name, as you like.

-Types of data

We make selected DSTs, Micro DSTs and ntuples, of the data we're interested in.

These start from the central production of the data DSTs, and need to be recreated with each new restripping and periodically updated with the newest data.

MC2010 is the affectionate name for all MC production done with the 2010 datatype during 2010.

For official central datasets, see MC10, which is the official MonteCarlo generated to simulate as close as possible 2010 data at the end of 2010.
