Jet reconstruction

  • reconstruct jet by using fastjet package
  • Anti-kT method
  • Minimum pT cut on track pT > 0.15 GeV/c
  • R < 0.7

electron and Jet distance

  • Calculate R (distance of electron and jet in phi & eta)
    • dphi = phi(e) - phi(jet), deta = eta(e) - eta(jet) & R = sqrt(dphi*dphi + deta*deta)
  • Plotted the R if R < 0.7
  • Electrons were separated semi-inclusive & photonic electron
    • photonic electron: identified by invariant mass method
    • semi-inclusive: removed reconstructed photnic electron via invariant mass
      • smaller photonic contribution than inclusive

electron tagged jet pT

  • plotted jet pT if the distance of jet and electron (R in the upper plots) is less than 0.7.
    • assumed tagging electron in the jet
  • Reference: Cone pT (Summing tracks w.r.t electron in R<0.7)
