Advanced Event Challenge - ttbar l+jets channel

Use the same files and cuts as in:

  • single MC ttbar (MCatNLO) file and data single run
  • LeptonSF means only e / mu reco + trigger + id SF applied (trigger eff for mu)
  • for LAr :
    • re-weight by a factor = lumi-before-run180614 / tot-lumi all the MC events with a "bad" jet
    • remove all the "bad" electrons in the event with a probability of lumi-before-run180614 / tot-lumi * (run the random generator once per event, setting the seed as gRandom->SetSeed(EventNumber), and then discard all the "bad" electrons if gRandom->Uniform(0,1)<(1.-165.468/694.744)
  • for Smearing : for both e and mu, set the random seed for each object as 1234 + EventNumber + (int)fabs(100*phi) (use cluster phi for electrons)
  • for ALLtogheter, only the latest two cuts have the b-tag SF applied (for MC only, of course)

*: lumi-before-run180614 / tot-lumi = 165.468 / 694.744

  • use JetFitterCombineNN with cut at 0.35 for b-tagging (use it for b-tag SFs as well)
  • use up to period H for pile-up and LAr (so the new pile-up reweighting an the ratio lumi-before-run180614 / tot-lumi = 165.468 / 1035.27)
  • order of LAr actions inverted - also: may be the LAr procedure is not fully correct... Need to think about it...
