This page is used to document the setup and running of the code that will be used for the 13 TeV Boosted TTH analysis.

Installation of Offline Code

Scripts to run Offline Code on batch cluster

  • Make txt files with lists of root files
    • one txt file per process (ttbar, ttH, W+jets etc)
    • separate file lists for systematics, ljets, nominal only
  • define variable list to write out in L2 tree
  • define output folder, selection, etc
  • run over trees and assign BDT weight for now
  • write little python script to make control plots:
    • need again list of variables with binning and bin edges
    • loop over variables, read in trees, project into histogram
    • add over/underflow to last/first bin and reset over/underflow to zero
    • write out files with histograms for plotting in the next step
    • define in python script the proper labelling
    • use same colour coding as in TRexFitter: ttbb,ttcc,ttlight,ttH,ttV,rest
