Analysis

Dibosons, VZ resonance (V=W,Z)

JP : 2l 2q replied today to CWR comments.

B physics

SL : (1) parking for K*ee/K*mumu: L1 @ 8KHz gives about 200 K*ee at analysis level (overoptimistic ?) Document in preparation, ready by Friday. Several other channels are possible (hadronic decays). However the B-Physics group is small, and it was not much effective in the past. (2) will start resume weekly meeting on K*mumu (effective help from Milano, two post doc). Roberto as well ? (3) ready for II iteration with PRD; sizably increased the description of peaking background effect. More details on the fit. AB : next wednsesday will present trigger review for 2018.

Dark Matter

SYH : presented expected limits on few mass points for MET + H. Results should be compared to those obtained with centrally produced events. Main difference : truth match.Soon a documentation will be ready.

Full Hadronic bbbbX (non resonant)

AT : unblinded. 1.8 sigma excess. Few points in the bench mark sample with bigger excess. Should be very soon preapproved, meeting with ARC already booked. Combination of all channels by some Moriond; bigger sensitivity than ATLAS. Expected limit : 30*SM, observed 59*SM.

AT : working with UZ. Devolping a MVA against QCD. Private production in LNL ? FF : eh ! Neeed CPU and disk. Production from scratch.

Same sign dileptons

UG : new production of nano AOD. In track for repeating all the steps of the analysis. o suprise expected for muons, need some more work for electrons.

Multiple leptons

ET : ARC of the Rutgers analysis. It's basically the see-saw analysis, use the same event selection but change the interpretation of the expected signal (now, look for excess of WZ). Nice way to minimize work and produce a lot of thesis.

--++ Exotic Quarks :

Matteo : defined two versions of the model for the yellow report. Heavy quarks interacting with SM particle through gauge mediators. Now stack with generation problems. Nedd to interfac to Phytis for hadroniaztion. Found an issue (errors critical for Phyitia) contacts with Luca Perrozzi.

JP : Andrea is finalizing the integration of the firmware. Accessed the direct memory access, injecting fake data and rereading them. Then start to injct and red back reak data in the memory. MZ : Sandro is replicating in C something that works in the firmware. Nicola will adjust the format in such a way to interface his code to the output of this chain.

Detector

DT : nedds a discussion on the future. Time Layer (PC) : Massimo is now involved, first idea on how to realize the supports. Two possible solutions, depending on the design of the sensor: SiPM with distributed area, or else a long scintillator readout at both side. Massimo would prefer the first solution. Need simulation and test. Problem : have cheap and reliable detectors. Soon a meeting, maybe in overlap with PD.Tis should be accounted for as EPR.
