Analysis

B physics

K*mumu work ongoing on efficiencies. The fit performance is improved substantially by using spherical harmonics instead of kde (analytically-defined integral helps the fit to converge)

muon tagger working fine. now testing on data on J/psi-k trigger -> 9% of tagging power and ~44% efficiency

Dibosons, VZ resonance (V=W,Z)

2016 combination to be approved tomorrow

Heavy New Physics

heavy neutrino meeting with collaborators in Perugia. analysis strategy will be a recast of the previous one, plus some refinement on fake assessment, systematics. estimated to be finished by the end of the year

VH SM

Same sign dileptons

EPR

Andrea Gozzelino will cover three blocks of three day-shifts as cDAQ shifter during MWGRs in 2019.

Trigger(less)

in LNL testing setup with 2 KCU1500 -> work in progress due to issues in flashing the configuration to the boards

fullly working online analysis based on Kafka + Spark

Slice test to be starting soon -> could store all data with a "triggerless" approach, and push a playback of the whole data to the FPGA with Nicola's code implemented in FW

Detector

DT

Andrea Gozzelino is DT operation support person in P5 (like DT DOC) for 4 weeks in 2019.

Timing Layer

Tracker

Patrizia is going to talk to Andrea Venturi about activities on the Pixel setup. mostly concerning "DOC" shifts for Matteo but also other kinds of involvements.
