Check Calibration

A calibration is delivered at the beginning of each run (every 30 min.). Please check it using the program MonitorUI.

  1. If MonitorUI is open press the Update button or set the auto-update box.
  2. If MonitorUI is not open launch it with the command:
    ssh tracker@pcpoc08 MonitorUI TrackerUser/Monitor/Output/LastCalDB.root
  3. Once you have a calibration compare it with the reference one (see below). Please check:
    • Overflows in the two leftmost plots should be exactly 0 (upper-blue) and 385 (lower-red).
    • The middle plots graph are peaked at approximately 2.7 (upper-blue) and 3.3 (lower-red) ADC counts.
    • The rightmost plots values are similar to the one seen in reference. In particular bits from 5 to 14 must be 0.
  4. If one of the previous is true is possible that the calibration failed. Ask to make another calibration.
  5. If the problem is still there ask to an expert.
