Cell Energy Distribution for LAr Calorimeter :

This twiki page describes the main steps one need in order to study the energy distribution per cell for all LAr Calorimeter partictions (Barrel, EndCap, HEC and FCAL). This is based on the D3PdMakerConfig and the CaloD3PDMaker tools.

The LArCellMonD3PD package :

This code is available on git and could be checked from the git link XXXX

Making the LArCellMonD3PD

Before doing anything, check that the athena release is at least as new as the ESD/DESD that you use, here we are using 2018 MinBias/ZeroBias data. To set it up, follow the instructions below:

# 1. Setup a work directory, checkout and compile code

mkdir LArCellMonD3PD
cd LArCellMonD3PD/
mkdir source build run
cd source/
asetup 21.0.19,here,gcc62

git clone ssh://:git@gitlab.cern.ch:8443/gouighri/LArCellMonD3PD.git LArCellMonD3PD
cd LArCellMonD3PD/
git fetch origin
git tag -l
git checkout tags/D3PDMakerConfig-00-04-03 -b D3PDMakerConfig-00-04-03
git branch

cd ../build/
cmake ../source
make -j4

# 2.  Set up runtime environment and run the code

In a fresh shell, do the following:

cd FCalMonD3PD/
asetup 21.0.19,here,gcc62
source build/x86_64-slc6-gcc62-opt/setup.sh
cd run
athena ../source/FCal/FCalMonD3PD/share/DPD_topOptions.py
