1. File->New->C++ Project
  2. Give a meaningful Project name [ trgmonitor ]
  3. Unselect Use default location and insert the current location of the package [ /cmsnfshome0/nfshome0/ecaldev/DAQ/ECAL/Sandbox_Test/ecal/ecalMonitoringClient/trg ]
  4. Select Makefile project

  5. Click on Next, then *Advanced Settings...
  6. Select C++ Build then Behaviour
  7. Set Build on resource save to "" (empty string)
  8. Set Build (Incremental build) to install
  9. Check Use parallel builds, "Use optimal job number*

  10. Select C++ Build->Environment
  11. Add ECAL_ROOT [ /cmsnfshome0/nfshome0/ecaldev/DAQ/ECAL/Sandbox_Test/ecal/ ] and ROOTSYS [ /nfshome0/cmssw/slc4_ia32_gcc345/lcg/root/5.22.00d-cms ]

  12. Select C++ General->Path and Symbols
  13. In GNU C++ add to Includes
    • ${ECAL_ROOT}/x86_slc4/include
    • ${ROOTSYS}/include
      PathAndSymbols.png

  • Select Shared Library Project
  • Select Makefile Projecy
  • Define ECAL_ROOT and ROOTSYS
  • add to includes ${ECAL_ROOT}/x86_slc4/include
  • add to includes ${ROOTSYS}/include
