Energy mass Scale

--++ Settings for the working area:

  • frame works in a ROOT based environment:

  • EoP differential non linearity (with SimpleNtuplesEoverP)
    • in MassScaleStudies/NonGlobe, compile .cpp (instructions inside), launch with example in ""
      • trisCheckScale_Allcategories.cpp = scale wrt Et (electron from Z/W used singularly)
      • trisCheckScale_AllR9.cpp = scale wrt R9 " "
      • trisCheckScale_MZAll.cpp = scale wrt ( Z events used)
      • IMPORTANT: .root output are produced in a local PLOT_name folder (TO BE CHECKED)

    • in MassScaleStudies/fromNonGlobe, root doComparisonxxx.C
      • doComparisonPlots.C = deal with results from trisCheckScale_Allcategories.cpp
      • doComparisonPlotsR9 = " " trisCheckScale_AllR9.cpp
      • doComparisonPlotsMZAll.C = "" trisCheckScale_MZAll.cpp
      • IMPORTANT: input folders are the one in MassScaleStudies/NonGlobe, output ones are local (TO BE CHECKED)

  • electron <==> photon (with reweight wrt Ntuples from Globe)
    • in MassScaleStudies/GlobeReweighted
      • GetGlobeRewVariables.cpp = saving trees with variables for reweight from Globe Ntuples (Zee ones = electron veto reverted) (to compile and launch see inside .cpp)
      • ComputeWeights.C = produce weights looking at Ntuples produced with trisCheckScale_Allcategories.cpp (integrated over categories)
      • trisCheckScale_Allcategories.cpp = able to apply weights, useful with 1only bin over Et, to get the integral scale (from electrons in Zee to photons in Hgg)
      • IMPORTANT: reweightZtoH (wrt Et), reweightEta, reweightR9 are the variables for reweighing

    • in MassScaleStudies/fromGlobe, root doComparisonxxx.C
      • ~ same as previous

  • Scale and Smearing corrections la Shervin
    • in MassScaleStudies/Utils/GetShervinCorrections.h scale corrections already tabulated
