This page should be of some help in locating data for a specific run.
Unfortunately most of my knowledge is hopelessly out of date and may be wrong!

Find data using the [[https://cmswbm.web.cern.ch/cmswbm/cmsdb/servlet/RunSummary][RunSummary]] tool on
the [[https://cmswbm.web.cern.ch/cmswbm/][CMS WBM]] page.

Data is now kept locally in EOS, at least during the 2015 pre-run commissioning.

Before using eos, execute
<pre>
  % source /afs/cern.ch/project/eos/installation/cms/etc/setup.sh
</pre>

Then you can do e.g.:
<pre>
  % eos ls -l /eos/cms/store/data/Commissioning2015/Cosmics/RAW/v1/000/235/788/00000
</pre>

The old DBS database seems to have gone away.  Need to find out what the replacement is.
