Cuts Applied

All Datasets will contain the latest stripping merged unless specified to avoid further confusion

By Default all Bs2JpsiPhi Datasets are generated by applying all of the scripts outlined by Matt at: LHCbEdinburghGroup2010Help

As of 2010-12-06 these are:

  • Apply 3 sigma of the pull cut on the J/psi
  • Select the best candidate per event
  • Reject time and mass fit failures
  • Cleans out time tail using second best IPCHI2 to vertex

Unless there is information to the contrary assume that these cuts have been applied.

These NTuples derrive from the CPPM Ntuple A or from Yuehong's NTuples.

CPPM releases Ntuple A on CASTOR:

/castor/cern.ch/user/o/ooleroy/stripping11/Stripping11_Down_5Nov2010_dv26r2p1.root

These Ntuples are Large (order of 10s Gb) so I haven't stored a local copy of them, although it may be a good idea to in the future if we want to generate NTuple B from these, although NTuple B is only 100s Mb in size.
