File processing

Original data is stored in /eos/project/l/lemma/data/2018/raw in the subfolders:

Running

Preprocessing : e.g.

python preprocess.py /eos/user/l/lemma/data/2018/raw/Run000331/data_000???.txt > data/Run000331/Run000331.txt

(input files must be sorted by their number)

By default the first 131072 lines are skipped (not OK if not starting from file 000000)

To process files :

python offline_analysis.py -trep <files>

To run the monitoring code: python offline_analysis.py -tre -n 100000 data/Run000XXX/data_000000.txt

Options:
-o only occupancies
-e time w.r.t. event ID
-c print final hits into csv file
-l layers to process (default=4)
-m max hits per event (default=200)
-r write root file -s number of hits to skip at top of the file -t use only external trigger -v increase verbosity

The webpage with the plots is saved in the plots directory. For example, for run 252: file:///d:/LEMMA/virtual/muon_collider_tb/DTAnalysis/offline_plots_252.html
