When you need to do Clkdes Scan
After a power cycle, power cut, new LTDB
How to perform a Clkdes Scan
1. Check LTDB & latome state
To be able to do Clkdes scan the LTDB need to be configured and the latome need to be in application, with no BCR error
connect on pc-lar-ptm-03
cd /det/lar/project/firmware/LATOME/config_test/LATOME_FW-v4.3.2/LATOME/firmware_control this path will change with the new version of the latome firmware
./check_application_factory.latome.sh <num latome>
should see application on the log if not do ./switch_application.latome.sh <num latome>
For the BCR error
./shell.latome.sh <num latome>
TTC -> TTC LIVE STATUS
if you see number in the BCR error column need to configure the
LArC
cd /det/lar/project/firmware/LATOME/config_test/LATOME_FW-v4.3.2/LATOME/firmware_control/LArC/firmware_control
./configure.larc.ttc_gbt.sh aca-lar-larc-<num larc>
2. FSM
Open FSM click on the LTDB on which you need to do the clkdes scan
1. Click on call scan to launch the clkdes and wait until the table is filled
2. click on the arrow to select the best delay for the fiber pair
3. click on set default to use this new delay
4. click on read default to check if the delay chose are good (blue square should be far from red square)
5. click on def to board to load this value on the LTDB
6. click on status latome to check if everything between LTDB and latome are ok
If you need to do clkdes scan on multiple LTDB you can click on this 2 buttons to be able to do clkdes scan in parallele
