Introduction

This page is aimed to provide informal prescription for private MC11b production to study signal acceptance, etc. The commands given below follow the official MC11b production. Note however that the validation of privately produced samples is not fully done yet; this means the samples produced in the procedure described below may not be approved as an official sample.

Full Simulation Production

The following plots show comparison between the official sample of mc11_7TeV.116255.AlpgenJimmyZeeNp5_Mll10to40_pt20.merge.NTUP_SMWZ.e944_s1310_s1300_r2920_r2900_p833/ and a private full simulation sample produced from mc11_7TeV.116255.AlpgenJimmyZeeNp5_Mll10to40_pt20.evgen.EVNT.e944/. The comparison is made at SMWZ D3PD level (p833 tag). The histograms (crossed points) show the distributions from the official (private) sample.

ATLFAST2 Production

The following plots show comparison between the official sample of mc11_7TeV.107665.AlpgenJimmyZmumuNp5_pt20.merge.NTUP_SMWZ.e835_a131_s1353_a139_r2900_p801/ and a private ATLFAST2 sample produced from mc11_7TeV.107665.AlpgenJimmyZmumuNp5_pt20.evgen.EVNT.e835/. The comparison is made at SMWZ D3PD level (p833 tag for ATLFAST2 and p801 for full simulation). The histograms (crossed points) show the distributions from the official (private) sample.
