(*) For the hand on session the following is needed to install the following packages:

  • Python 3
  • Jupyter
  • Numpy package
  • Pandas package
  • Scikit-learn package
  • matplotlib package

Then copy the zipped file from the lowest part of the wiki page (the attached files) to your working directory.

When everything is installed, please type in your command line "jupyter notebook". This makes your browser open, go to the jupyter page, where you will see the specific example. Click on it to open it.

(**) For the talk about PyTorch the above mentioned packages are needed and of course a Pytorch installation. PyTorch is accessible at the following site: https://pytorch.org/get-started/locally/ where you need to specify your OS system, package and python installation. Then you only need to copy the generated command to your terminal and everything should be working.

The jupyter notebook with all needed files will be uploaded before the seminar.
