I know that Yaxian is organizingthis, but I am not closely following. We have customized ntuples with all the information, and also prepared some for embedding, however have so far only looked into the decay analysis. * Since we are busy with the decay stuff at least for one more week, I'd say maybe you guys should go ahead and with the shower shape analysis. How well does the MC describe it? Ie maybe we can compare shower shapes of electrons from J/psi between data/MC? * suggestion to brainstorm before the end of the month... ---++++ Brainstorming sur l'analyse *(Nicolas)* Comme discute lors de notre derniere reunion, nous aimerions prendre part a l'analyse des photons dans EMCal. L'idee de ce mail est de lister les differents "outils" en lien avec cette analyse (je commence...et chacun ajoute ce qu'il veut...en particulier Gustavo avec qui nous n'avons pas pu encore en discuter). A cote de chaque item je mets les noms des personnes auxquelles je pense (Gustavo pourra me corriger). Ensuite j'essaie d'indiquer ou nous ( = groupe de Grenoble) en sommes sur chacun des points Les items intervenant dans l'analyse photons : 1) Clusterisation (3x3, nouveau v1, ...) _Constantin, Deepa_ 2) Timing _ Marie, Alexis_ 3) Unfolding _ Adam_ 4) Shower shape _Jocelyn, Marie_ 5) Isolation _Nicolas, Ana (?)_ 6) Track Matching _Rongrong_ 7) Data selection (centrality, trigger, tracks, ....) _All+ Nos etudes a Grenoble : 1) Perte d'energie 3x3 VS v1 avec une simu de photons [0-50 GeV] (stages L2 + nicolas (je les surveille un peu quand-meme ;-) ) 2) RAS 3) RAS 4) RAS 5) Etude en pp, fluctuations du bruit dans le cone d'isolation en PbPb, ajout information neutre + fiducial cut (en cours) 6) connaissance du code de track matching, tests, estimation de l'efficacite (a continuer) 7) OK (je pense que Gustavo a tout ce qu'il faut sur ce point) -- Main.CatherineSilvestre - 19-Jul-2011
