Procedures to turning ON/OFF of a specific part of the tracker

The procedure outlined below might come in handy in case of some tracker crate was switched off.
That might happen due to some power failure on the ISS. In the following I will use as an example
a situation when one need to restart the crates 2 and 6

In order to turn ON/OFF a specific crate:

  1. Change to the power_step_scripts directory
    cd /pocchome/tracker/TrackerExpert/JMDCCommander/power_step_scripts/
  2. Make sure that two JINFs are turned ON. (See below,)
  3. Execute (this sends commands):
  4. Use GlowGUI to check that everything is powered up properly.

Having two JINF turned on

Basically, you should ask LEAD Expert (M.Capell or X.Cai) to arrange this.

To check that the appropriate JINFS are on, you can use the "JINF Pro Controller".
Launch it with JINF eas:hosc feplr , select an appropriate JINF in top-right corner and click "GET STATUS"
