Test PF Isolation

Some code update is needed to compute PF isolation for muon candidates.

The template is in confDB here: /users/hbrun/exampleSeq/PFmuonInRelease It contains two paths:

  • HLT_IsoMu24_eta2p1_v1 is the path with sequential cuts on relative PFecalIso (hltMuonEcalIsoFilterUnseeded), relative PFhcalIso (hltMuonHcalIsoFilterUnseeded) and relative tracker isolation (hltL3MuonTkRelIsolationsIterTrkRegIter02).
  • HLT_combIsoMu24_eta2p1_v1 is an example of a path with a cut on the relative combined isolation (in hltL3pfIsoTkIsoClusterUnseededCombIso)
  • the timing cut on the ECAL RecHits is add by default in this area

  • add the hltCleanOOTEcalRecHit producer (for example after the hltEcalRecHit)

  • add the hltCleanOOTEcalRecHit producer in the HLTDoFullUnpackingEgammaEcalSequence sequence, right after the process.hltEcalRecHit

  • replace hltEcalRecHit:EcalRecHitsEB by hltCleanOOTEcalRecHit:EcalTimeCleanedRecHitsEB in the 2 following producers hltTowerMakerForAll and hltParticleFlowRecHitECALUnseeded

Tree for PF isolation studies:

  • the trees are available on CERN EOS at the following address: /store/group/phys_muon/hbrun/HLTtest/singleMuonIsolationStudies/Fall13_PU40_BS25/
  • there is 1 entry in the tree per event, the content of the tree is the following:
    • T_Trig_* = vector containing the infos related to the trigger object saved in the event
    • T_Gen_* = vector containing the infos related to the GEN particle in the event

Isolation information:
