Shift instructions for historic DQM

Filling of the historic database

Log into cctrack@cmscc09 using your own afs account (cmscc09 is the offline shift machine).

cd historicDQM
Find out the location in castor of a given run :
./ [run number] [dataset name]

Fill the historic database :

./ [castor directory path]
where [castor directory path] is the LAST directory found by ./

BEWARE : The runs should be uploaded to the historic DB in chronological order !! Please upload the runs in the order they are listed in the datasheet table. Please wait one day or so for missing runs to arrive before to upload newer (already processed) runs. Insertion of missing runs is impossible due to DB issues.
