Performances of the TTCS system
On this page we report different Temperature Monitoring for the Tracker in different conditions depending on the status of the integration process.
27 July 2010
On July 27, all Tracker was powered ON for more than 8 hours and cooled by
TTCS in the following configuration:
- All SubD on and MLI on top of TRD (important for monitoring the temperatures of Plane1N.
- primary loop on, secondary loop off
- set point at 26 C, cav_margin parameter set to 3 C.
The Tracker temperatures monitoring are reported in Figures below.
- Plane 1N Temperatures with TRD on and MLI (27-07-2010):
- Temperatures for all Tracker Planes with All SubD ON and Primary TTCS pump ON (29-07-2010):
09 July 2010
The 9th July 2010 the new Tracker plane (1N, on top of the TRD) has been cabled. The whole plane, together with the rest of the Tracker, has been on for about 3 hours with a stable temperature:
- temperature on plane 1N:
13 January 2010
On January 13th at about 12:00 the Tracker has been powered ON cooled by
TTCS in the following configuration:
- primary loop on, secondary loop off
- set point 26 C, other parameters as in the attached image below
- condenser cooled only by radiator (no air conditioning) without the plastic cover
The Tracker temperature are reported in the image below, and can be accessed at the usual location:
