We only have a few comments as detailed below.

  • Line 20-21: "Type 1 and Y" and "Type 2 and X" are not defined in the text and do not add relevant information. We suggest to remove them and add "it can reach up to 100%" to the previous sentence.
  • Sec. 3.1: Add reference for isolation choice
  • Eq.2: "rho.Aeff" --> "rho x Aeff"
  • Line 130-132: Are the weighting procedure, and the value of the coefficients described in Ref.[38] at L129? If so make it clearer, else add a reference.
  • Eq. 3: Define Ntt->bWbW, Ntt->bHbW, and Nother. In particular, if Ntt->bHbW correponds to the sum of both charge conjugate states (Ntt->H+W- + Ntt->H-W+), shouldn't you remove the factor 2?
  • Fig.3 - Caption: "decaying to csbar". From the text, one reads that the SM tt-bar sample contains W bosons decaying into two quarks. After all selections are applied, the sample may be enriched in cs-bar, but it is possibly not only made of cs-bar. Is there a selection at generator level to limit the figure to W->cs decay mode only? If so please expand the caption, else modify.
  • L.187: "Shape uncertainty" is mentioned, but no explanation is given on what is the meaning of it. Please either add a reference (combination tools?) or explicitly explain how the shape uncertainlies are handled (better).
  • L.187: In addition, "shape uncertainty" --> "uncerainty on the PDF of the dijet mass"
  • L.200-202: Is there a reference for this assumption ? if yes, please add it to the paper
  • L.230-231: Add a reference for the 40% and 60%
  • Table 2: Is the number for the signal events the sum of both charge conjugate states (H+W- and H-W+) as suggeted at line 242 or it is only for one of them? Please make it clear beyond doubts to the reader.
  • Fig. 5: Do we understand correctly that the magenta plot is made by combining the yields as in Eq. 3? Please expand to make clearer how the plot is constructed.
  • L.281-283: Since you justify the search of this channel as plausible decay mode in the MSSM model, and since you say that your measurement can be used to constranit the phase space of such a model, it would seem reasonable to conclude reporting the MSSM phase space region excluded by this measurement.
