This is a reference case. No in-beam moderator included. Scoring position is at the exit of the NEAR Station collimator. As for the other cases, the filter is nat B of indicated thickness (see table below).

In this case, an Al moderator placed in the internal part of the shielding. The size and shape of the moderator corresponds to the aperture of the collimator larger diameter.

bpe20-30

In this case, the scoring position is number 30 (inside the collimator hole). The BPE thickness is 20cm instead of 30cm. NOTE the extremely high neutron fluence, both for the direct as well as for the filtered beams.
