Registration as CERN User for the n_TOF Collaboration

When coming to CERN from an outside institute to participate in an n_TOF experiment, you have to register as a CERN User via the Users' Office (bldg 61-R-020) website here >> and contact: user.office@cernNOSPAMPLEASE.ch.

If you already have a Team Leader and you need to register as User in an n_TOF Team, then your Team Leader can use the online Pre-Registration Tool to register you as a user. See the related Tutorial for Team Leaders.

If your institute is new to n_TOF and does not yet have a nominated Team Leader, then you have to contact the User Office and explain that you (or someone in your Institute that will act as Team Leader) need to register as a new Team Leader for the n_TOF Collaboration.

The documentation you must provide includes, as minimum:

• A copy of Your passport or ID
• Home Institution Declaration, to be signed by an authorized representative of your home institution for the purpose of issuing the contract of association with CERN
• Registration form

In case you need to be appointed as Team Leader:

• Team Leader nomination form, to be signed by the n_TOF Collaboration Spokesperson
