    • GridKa: Andreas, Doris
    • SARA: Alexander
    • Triumf: Denice
    • PIC: Luis

  • CERN:
    • 3D: Dirk, Eva, Zbigniew, Dawid
    • ATLAS: Gancho
    • Taiwan: Dave
    • LHCb: Marco

  • General announcements:
    • Dirk has updated the agenda for the workshop at CNAF.
    • Remote participants: Denice, Marco and Alexander. Dirk has not received more confirmations.
    • There will be a meeting about VOMS replication, next Wednesday, phone meeting. We will discuss VOMS replication to few sites.

  • Sites status:
    • Tier 0:
      • No problems at database level.
      • OEM agent patch deployed at all source databases in the Streams environments. The problem has not reappered so far.
      • Eva is analyzing the impact of the capture checkpoint frequency on the resynchronization methods. High checkpoint frequency is good in case of capture restart but it will reduce the window where it is possible the resynchronization for the sites. It is necessary a compromise.
      • Online – offline PVSS tests ongoing: Dawid, Gancho and Florbela.
    • Taiwan (Dave):
      • nothing to report.
      • moving FTS to Oracle (actually MySql).
    • SARA (Alexander):
      • problems with the listener configuration. Now it is fixed.
      • several node crashes during this week, still under investigation.
      • TNS connect timeout reported by the propagation jobs, network problem at SARA?
    • Listener Configuration example: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/PSSGroup/RaC
    • Triumf (Denice): nothing to report.
    • PIC (Luis):
      • defining/implementing RMAN policy.
      • during ATLAS tests has been notices that the archiver is not fast enough managing the redo logs. Luis and Gancho looking at the problem. They will contact CERN dbas if needed.
    • BNL (Carlos):
      • replication blocked last week: Eva found that the apply process was blocked by other process: the queue manager process. After killing the process, apply process could continue applying changes. This issue has been already reported to Oracle, waiting for feedback.
      • analyzing backups to tape and disk
      • OEM targets configured
    • GridKA (Andreas): nothing to report.

  • Experiment tests status:
    • LFC read only replicas:
      • LFC backend inside the LHCB cluster.
      • All sites will need to include a new server for the LFC: plan the interventions.
      • Email to all the Tier 1 sites (Tier 1 responsible) announcing the LHCb request so the resources can be provided and to prepare the schedule.
      • PIC, RAL(already contacted) interested to join.
      • IN2P3 has already a server running LFC, ready to be included
    • LHCB Streams tests:
      • All the sites are connected.
      • Add the PIT database to the Streams setup.
    • ATLAS Streams tests:
      • Tests against PIC started today.
      • INTR running on only 1 node, high CPU consumed.
      • Waiting for the COOL fix (full table scan) to run the scalability test against Lyon. Andrea is working on it.
      • Gancho and Florbela will attend CNAF workshop (Gancho will report about LHCB and CMS as well).

  • 3d workshop agenda
    • RMAN and resynchronization using Streams presentations during the first morning.
    • Hands-on session second morning – several sites to perform the recovery.
    • VOMS replication: we would like to move it to the afternoon, to be checked with the VOMS team.
    • Summary of additional applications to be replicated.
    • Volunteers to report about the Tier1 status: Carlos (RMAN), Luis (FTS and LFC). Please let us know if more people interested on collaborate.

  • CMS replication tests:
    • Nothing new.
    • Including new sites. Total now: 35 sites.
