Monitoring of disk arrays:

The agent.ini file (attached) should be uploaded (via FTP) into the "/cfg" subdirectory of the disk arrays. After a controller reset, this will enable SNMP traps to be sent in case of problems to BOTH head nodes which will eventually propagate them to Lemon. In duplicate.

Note: you can FTP a storage using 'root' username and empty password (or the password set on the disk array).

Monitoring of the SAN fabric:

The switches have been set up to send SNMP traps to both head nodes in case of problems. This is further investigated now by Hugo Cacote (in order to be integrated with the monitoring system).

Current status:

Storage arrays with new agent.ini deployed: 01, 02, 03, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21
Storage arrays with old agent.ini deployed: 04, 17, 22
