  • Log into pdb-backup
  • ./edit_tnsnames

* Propagate the AFS file to different UNIX machines and DFS (is run automatically every hour):

    • Login as oracle to dbnetra03
    • Goto the script folder:
      oracle@dbnetra03$ cd script/tns
    • propagate:
      oracle@dbnetra03$ ./propagate_tns
    • check that propagation has happened (possibly run again propagate_tns)
  • For doing all the manual process check: Manually edit and propagate tnsnames.ora
