The Panda monitor provides a web browser interface to the Panda system: datablocks, jobs, sites, system component logs, job status logs, production statistics, etc. The monitor runs under Apache mod_python.

The monitor and associated tools are in the CERN SVN area of the Panda repository (which can also be viewed through a browser).

A related Panda component is PandaLogger.

NEW"New" PanDA Web platform API

The new PanDA monitoring Web server with the new API is gradually replacing the 'classical' one.

The new platform-based Panda Monitor Web Application is backward compatible with the classical Panda Monitor. It does support the legacy "classic" Panda Monitor Interface.

For example, the 3 different URLs,

redirect the user query to one and the same Web Server and generate the same "classic" Web page.

PanDjango is an evolution of the Panda Monitor, which aims to reuse much of its internal logic on the basis of a modern Web Application Framework (Django), supplement with a rich client for browser application. Primary (and pretty much the only) way of data delivery from the server to any kind of client is JSON, which guarantees a uniform and verifiable interface and modular nature of the extended system.
