Persistency Framework services
Production services
The following is a non-exhaustive list of incident analyses for issues observed during the operation of the production services related to the Persistency Framework. Such service operation issues are addressed through a variety of communication channels, such as dedicated post-mortem (linked to the
WLCGServiceIncidents page), savannah, Remedy and several mailing lists. The following list is non-exhaustive and only includes some of the most important recent service operation incidents.
- ORA-07445 in ATLAS after Oracle PSU (June 2010): savannah
analysis, ATLAS DB meeting presentation
.
- CORAL LFCReplicaSvc issues in LHCb (April 2010): savannah
analysis.
- CORAL LFCReplicaSvc issues in LHCb (April-June 2009): Persistency twiki post-mortem.
Development services
The Persistency team is maintaining a few development servers that are needed for testing the Persistency Framework software (e.g. a MySQL server and a CORAL server). These services used to be scattered across many different locations, but have been migrated in 2011 to a 'persistency' cluster in the Computer Centre (see
PersistencyTestServers for more details).
