Backup for Savannah

Where to find the files

The main cron for the savannah backup is started from the daily cron (in /etc/cron.daily/savcern-backup.cron) and triggers the script at /data/savannah/cernscripts/savcern-tarbackup.sh.

What it does

This script will then backup the main DB files and the configuration files as follows:

etc/savannah_new
etc/pam.d/php
etc/cron.daily/savcern-backup.cron
data/savannah/
var/lib/mysql/savannah_new

The new version of the script (as of Nov 22) will then rsync the savannah-backup to a directory in AFS (/afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/app/spi/internal/${DATE}). This part is done by another script (/data/savannah/cernscripts/savcern-tarbackup-toAFS.sh).
