Upgrade to high duty cycle

This page contains a list of items that need to be changed/modified, when Linac4 is upgraded to high duty cycle to act as a front-end for the high-power SPL. It doesn't claim to be complete but hopefully it will grow with time.

cooling water	install new pipes with larger diameter	to cover the increased cooling needs	3 September 2008
DTL tuners	retune due to higher temperature		3 September 2008
DTL tuners	add cooling circuit to tuners	complete replacement?	3 September 2008
DTL cooling	increase water flow	in particular through DTs	3 September 2008
power couplers buncher cavities	replacement with ceramics based windows		2012-01-11
